I myself ain't exactly sure of the scale and depth the game will take but from what we've discussed already there's a lot of content
be it iconning,coding,turfing etc.
What im getting at is that its a big project. So I was thinking that perhaps instead of trying to complete the full game since day one,we focus around say 25% of the content to get the game "playable".This has a few advantages and that is that everyone in staff gets to get a feel for the game, we can see how the code works out for combat and we can get a feel of what exploration will be and how maps will be done.We can start out on the mini-games etc.
What exactly is 25%?
Simple
Base - Final Product
A a few sets of clothes
One Sea instead of the 5 - East Blue probably
2 or 3 classes - Swordmen, Marksmen
2 or 3 Devil fruits
Combat Mech
Some ship travel
Etc
This is to say a checkpoint, that we can create to use as reference for the whole game. Not to mention this could be used further down the line for live testing with non-staff members.Yes.getting people to play the game is important.
Im basically proposing goals for our Alpha stage.
