Combat System

This is what i had in mind.

Stamina: This would lower gradually due to physical attacks that you get. If this goes down to 0 twice, then you die. This can be raised, with the options to raise strength, speed, etc. Later on this stat would tie into the breaking of bones(ribs, arms, maybe even neck Smile )

Endurance: This is your fatigue basically. It would lower as you use attacks and techniques. Using powers of the devil fruit would drain it quicker. Your endurance can be raised(for now swimming would raise this). If your endurance goes down to 0 then it will rise back up gradually but leaving you open for attacks while it is doing this.(icon would be kneeling over breathing heavily). If your endurance is high then it wont get lowered quickly, as oppose to if its low it will get lowered quickly. But if your endurance is high it will take longer for it to go down to 0 when u've reached your peak. Leaving you open for attacks longer. If your endurance is low then it would go back up quicker but u will reach your peak more often because its low. Leaving you open for attacks more. To avoid reaching 0 using your attacks sparingly or when needed would be better because it would lower..then gradually rise as you are not doing any moves. But if you "spam attacks" you will reach 0 quicker.

Vitality: All sharp attacks raise this in battle. If your vitality reaches a certain length, you will die. Durability can raise that certain length. But certain races can only raise it so high because certain races have limits(humans). This will affect your pain meter as well. Later on this stat would tie into the cutting off of limbs or even decapitation Twisted Evil .

Defense: THis can be trained. In battle the higher this is the more attacks you can dodge or block the lower it is the more attacks u get hit with. Im thinking this could raise gradually as you deal more pain to an opponent. And would probably be linked to endurance. Like if your endurance is low you cant dodge anymore only barely block and that only reduces dmg 50%.(this could differ with fruit powers). Blocking would raise pain meter, but only by a little.

Durability: This would be a stat you can raise by probably sparring. But this stat would most affect your pain meter and vitality. Again certain races can only raise it so high because certain races have limits(humans). But if this is raised it would make the user able to endure more pain and wounds than normal.

Pain Meter: My personal favorite. This would work like this.... when your hit once..depending on the strength of the user and your defense etc. it will make your pain meter jump to a certain height then back down to a low level of your pain meter. This is how it would gradually rise. Pain meter will affect movement speed, attack speed, and maybe later on vision.(make screen blurry for the player). If your pain meter reaches its peak than your vitality will raise to its length of death quicker, each time your hit by your opponent. The breaking of bones, or cuttin of limbs would make this go up substantially in a moment of the fight.

Note that these stats WILL differ due to races and fruit powers. Anyways feedback plox.

Well more or less we could have something called will. When you are knocked out, you get a tank that you spam with something like space to fill it.When the tank is full you will be able to wobble up from being koed. This would work with the pain. Pain would determine the amount of presses it would take to fill the Will power tank.

Question: What are the stats that you can only increase through leveling up? Personally I think the skills improve through battle, fights, experiences so agreed.
